Has anyone actually replaced the front sunroof drains on a Cayenne? I've got a 2003 Turbo and like many of us, have had a clogged sunroof drain and a lake underneath the front carpet. I removed the front seat and peeled the carpet and foam back and let it sit in the sun for a few days and it finally dried out. When i started inspecting the drain, i noticed that mine has a flattened area where it turns downward from underneath the headliner to down the A-pillar. It's still clogged at the end, but i need to replace it because it is too stiff to return to its original round shape. Where do t
Hello all I'm hoping someone out there can help an electrical novice with my daily drive. My car has recently developed a non-start issue. I have the wet carpets problem that so many 986s seem to suffer from. Initially I thought I had fixed the problem with new door liners but it seems my problem may be elsewhere - probably blocked drains. Either way, my car failed to start last week. The central locking doesn't function, interior light is out and the motor doesn't crank. I removed the alarm unit from beneath the passenger seat (RHD UK car) and there was some slight corrosion on the circuit
Okay this is more than likely my fault for not getting my bulkhead drain grommets sorted out properly last autumn (they were blocked and causing water seepage into the cabin but when I was trying to clean it out I managed to push the old n/s grommet into never-never land.l bought a replacement and then did the same again! (To be fair it is a ba***rd to access as you'll know if you're familiar with this). I intended to try and access the never-never land area by removing the inner wheelarch liner in the Spring - by the way, as a separate issue, does anybody know if that will allow me to access/
