Is there any reason to believe that 02+ exhaust tips will not fit on a 99 C2? I like those oval with flat bottom tips and was thinking about adding them to my car. I have been advised that there may be an alignment issue with the rear bumper?? ANy advice?

Also, any pics of your tips (note the spelling!) would be appreciated, listing the Brand/cost if possible.

Correct - they will not fit.

Both the bumper shape and exhaust design changed in MY02 (and newer cars). Perhaps an exhaust specialty shop could make them work with a welding but they are definitely not bolt-on.

Any suggestion on where to get "flat bottom" oval tips that will fit a 99 C2? Or any other alternative BAD A$$ tips I might like (standard oval is too plain for me!)

Check out these 2002-2004 style double-tips at Automotion (the ones they call "Turbo"). They're supposed to fit 1999-2001 911's.
