Coolant leak - cut hose

Recommended Posts

I have a 2006 C2 Coupe, 6 speed, USA.

Took the car into the dealer for a coolant leak. It was attributed to a 'cut' hose that is next to the water pump. The dealer cannot find a part number for the hose, consequently is having a hell of a time trying to order the part. The car has been at the dealer since 8/26/06. A e-mail with a pix of the hose was sent to PCNA, no help. They are now waiting on an answer from Porsche Germany. Any help out there? This is crazy, they've had the car since 8/26/06.

Any pics of the location?

Thanks for the question - I just realized I could've asked him to send me the pix and didn't; THANKS for the trigger. I can also ask him to take a pix of the location.

The dealer sent me a picture of the hose, and at the same time told me they expected some hoses in today and were pretty sure the right one was included. It was and I have my car back. I'll post the pix they sent me should anyone else have the same problem.
