PPI will vary by dealer or shop as to what they check.

If you want an Porsche Certified Pre-Owned type of inspection then have them do the things on the CPO checklist that can found here. Of course they will charge you for this service.

looks like wllong has it right the checklist just seems like a nice wax and cleaning, so i will have to ask the dealer for the compession, leak down test and pressurize the cooling system, check the DME for update and run engine numbers etc....

I can do all of this myself put who in there right mind would let me check out all this stuff in a driveway with a tool box hahahahaha

anyone know of a good porsche PPI in CT MA area??

Your regular garden variety PPI is going to be a visual inspection and likely a check of all the control units with the tester. A compression test and leak down test is going to be several more hours of labor. An easy way to tell if the engine or transmission has been replaced is new/reman engines and transmission dont have cosmoline applied to them.
