Volcano Grey Touch-Up Paint

Recommended Posts

This is a big assumption on my part, but does Porsche make touch-up paint for the volcano grey interior trim inside of the car? And if so, what is the part number? I would love to have some matching paint for a headunit trim panel I need to create for a double-din in-dash navigation unit.

2006 987 Cayman S

6-speed transmission

Black interior (standard leather)

USA

Thank you,

Suneet

Adding a related question, what about Galvano Silver(all silver interior trims in 987)? Anyon has info?

suneet, can you share more info about your navigation unit plan?

I'm waiting for the AVIC-D3 because it has all the features I want at the price point I want; expected release is March. I have a sound package plus car, so no fiber optics to worry about or disrupt. I just have to find some paint for a trim panel and locate the speed sensor wire in the car for the navigation unit. For illumination I plan on tapping into lights and for reverse sensor, the wire for the reverse tail lights. All those wires are required for a navigation system to function properly, but the PCM gets all the data through the MOST bus. As far as speaker and amplifier connections back there, it's all copper and already present and it's virtually plug and play. - SS

On a diffirent subject does anyone know if the bezel kit sold on ebay is an exact match to the volcano grey interior? Do they use the OEM paint to match it?

Help Please!
