Which Springs Will Lower RoW MO30?

Gents,

I have ROW MO30 suspension on my car (1999 C2, Man, Coupe). I ordered H&R springs (-30mm) as I do not like the way the car sits. My Porsche mechanic took out the front strut and we compared the springs before puttin them in. The H&R spring was taller, had more loops and was easier to compress. That did not look right at all. He was also sure that they would not lower the car any further.

We did not want to install the springs as we would not be able to return them...

Can anyone shed any light on this? If so, what springs can I buy which will lower the car?

I have never used H&R, but did use Eibach springs on my 99 and loved the look and the ride. About 25 mm all around. the Eibach springs are also taller than the stock uncompressed. The load resistance is what makes it different.

I know have an 03 with M030. If you want the Eibachs let me know, I will be selling them shortly.

I installed the Eibachs about 2 weeks ago, I also compared the springs side by side. The Eibach springs were a little taller themselves...I wouldn't worry about it. Install them let them settle for about a month then get an alignment with a full tank of gas. The stock springs have more resistance compared to the sports. The car will look nice once they are installed.

Thanks so much. H&R Germany just confirmed what you are saying. Even though the springs are taller, the car will still lower more than the RoW Mo30. It should be another 10mm at the front and around 20mm at the rear.

I will let you know how I get on.

Update:

I have fitted H&R springs. The car does sit lower all round, but is level rather than the rear end up in the air. My initial impressions are that the car is stiffer, but it feels planted to the road and corners much better. Maybe it's me, but it also seems to understeer less...
