CDR 220 Issue

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if someone could help me out with a CDR 220 that has a blinking LED and will not power ON. I just bought this 986 and the battery was dead when I picked it up and I replaced that. The new battery lasted about 4hours and then the car died. It was determined that I needed to replace the aternator and the car has been fine since, but I can not get the head unit to power up. Can someone please help me out with soem suggestions?

Thanks in advance for the help

Did you check the main fuse and the one behind the radio?

I just located the manual online and I see that there is a 10amp fuse lacted on the back. I will give that a try. I have confirmed a positive status on the fuse box. Do you know if there are a lot of issues with these head units? They are expensive units so I would assume that they should be better than most.

Thanks for the help
