Do I have a leak?

Recommended Posts

or are they feeding a bunch of BS. I took my car in to the dealer today and while I was there asked them to check on any issues before the warranty is out

Pic today, they say some kind of leak, not sure what it's unless the put the dye in and check it out

not much change in my opinion. What do you guys think? and what could that oil be?

The area that is shown in detail in the second ("now") photo looks like it has not changed since the first photo. Judging from the RMS repairs discussed on this board and others, and the fact that there appears to be no such thing as a "permanent" RMS repair, I would be careful to avoid having this done unless they can show you some more definite signs of a problem.

Regards, Maurice.

They're not claiming RMS, they think some water pump gasket lubricant? Not sure what that is, sounded silly to me. Any work will be done under warranty but I'd rather not do any work that doesn't need to be done. I need an expert opinion on this before I take it next week. Warranty is out end of the month.
