2005 996 TTS

Hi everyone, I am looking at a 2005 996 TTS (from first owner in Switzerland) with 22 000 km on the clock. I have checked all options but have still few open points:

1) Cannot find what is option code C10. Any clue what it could be?

2) I am bit worried about the PCCB - I plan the car for 99% street use - should I be worried about the PCCBs?

3) The car has all documentation OK and is coming with an extended Porsche warranty; the only thing which is scaring me in this area is that it has two keys (one main and one backup with no remote) - shouldn't it have 3 keys (two main and one backup)?

Should I check anything specific for a TTS (based on the model # M9670-645 G6950-40 and engine code M96/70E)?

Many thanks for your help!!!

1. C10 Switzerland (emissions for Switzerland) - so check to see if that is legal in your country.

2. No, those should be gen 2 PCCB - which are much better than gen 1.

3. I do not know about other countries - in the US most cars come with 2 primary keys and 1 valet key.

I always suggest potential new owners look at all the service/repair records that previous owners and shop will let them look at.

If you are getting it from a Porsche dealer then ask for a Porsche CPO.
