Hi All,

Just noticed that I have 'lost' the colored strip on the door handle. This is the strip in the middle of the handle which is colored in the exterior color. Does anybody know whether this is for sale seperately or do i need to order a complete new strip?

Thanks, frank

He mains the strip on the outside handle, Loren item 3, you cant see it on the illustration, is not for sale separately part of the handle. Perhaps second hand somewhere, it's screwed with a very small Philips screw.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I do mean the strip on item nr3. If it is not for sale seperately I have to find it somewhere. Don't really fancy paying lots of $$ for one strip. Are you sure it is screwed? thought it was just push on?

Thanks, frank

Hi Pokerjarvis,

Thanks for the reply. No I have not found the strip yet (did not have a lot of time to look for it either). It would be great if it would be a black one. It is the one for the rear right door with entry and drive.

Please let me know if you can help me.

Thanks, frank

Frank,

Did you ever find the part you need? I may have what you need, if you're still looking. What color are you looking for?

I am also looking for a black insert for the rear offside doorhandle on my UK car, this would be on the passenger side on the US cars.

The one I need has the hole for the remote entry system key button.

I have a slightly damaged Black one and also a dark Blue one in good condition.

Thanks

Hugh

I changed out the silver handles on my CS to the black ones. Oddly enough, the black ones came with grey inserts. So...I changed out the inserts. Follow me?? Bottom line: I have extra handles and (grey) inserts. You can have whatever you want.

Pokerjarvis,

I only need the insert for the rear right door handle (with the hole for the entry and drive system)? If you are willing to sell me this, that would be great.

Please let me know what you want for it.

Thanks, frank
