Coolant at the back tire...need advice fast

Recommended Posts

I've read all about the tank going bad and the cap should be replace with a XXXX-01....My cap is a xxxxx-00. Porsche here doesn't have a xxx-01 cap in stock and said that 00 should be fine, who knows....anyway...Last night coolant ran out like it was shot with a gun....this moring, I refilled and put the cap on....never cranked the car.....still a steady drip. Took the cap off and it started pouring. Would it be good to say the the tank is bad and the water pump is good. I took all carpet out of trunk and dry as a bone. Dealer closes at 4:00 and it's 1 hour drive. Quick help would be nice. Going to pull carpet behind seat to see if it is a hose....please post reply or if you feel like helping big time...call me at 850-221-8200....thanks
