Looking for torque tightening specs for suspension

Recommended Posts

I am in need of torque tightening specs for the suspension components. Namely the drop links, strut mount, lower rear shock mount and sway bar bolts. I have searched this forum as well as others to no avail. Car is a 997 C2S.

TIA

-Matt

Hi,

I had a hard time trying to read these also. I was wrenching on the new H&R sway bar that I added to the rear end and I stopped when I thought it was enough. With so much aluminum in the suspension it makes you wonder. My new concern is if the stock drop down links can take the abuse from the new sway bar. The rear end makes tons of noise.

Are the suspension torque specs for the 997.2 any different than the 997.1?  If so, can you provide those specs or a link to where I can find those?  (i could not find 997.2 specs in my search)

Please post your request in the 997-2 section along with the exact model and year of your car - thanks.

Try this again, these are easier to read...

Hi everyone, my first post, and great to see such useful information. I am doing my rear drop links this weekend, 997.1 C2. I've downloaded the pdfs but to be honest, I have no idea which one of the items refers to a drop link. I was hoping someone could spell this out in simple terms for me please?

Thanks

Mark
