dripping hydraulic resevoir lid

Recommended Posts

after an early morning b road blast about 2 hrs round trip, lots of bends, big hills and the odd mountain. noticed hydraulic fluid dripping from filler cap on resevoir, cap seems secure and o ring looks intact, the is a 06 c4s x51 with nearly 15k on the clock. anyone else seen this before? should i be worried

Seems pretty odd unless it was over filled, or the cap was overtightened, or the reservoir somehow took a blow that damaged it.

I would watch it daily for a week or two and see if you notice level change or other problems.
