Removing new brake pads

I'm trying to remove my fairly new brake pads to replace them with the OE sport pads.

So there is very little slack between the pads and the pistons as I try to slide them out. And the pads are glued on to what I guess are anti-rattle/noise discs which protrude into the hollow inside of the pistons.

So I basically scraped those anti-rattle devices off the backs of one pad and removed the pad cleanly. Now before I do the other 7, I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.

And do I need to replace these devices onto the back of the new pads? If so, do I need to buy a new set of these things? What adhesive should I use to attach them?
