Spacers for Rear Wheels

hi,

i have the "SportDesign Wheel" 10Jx18 ET65 with tires 285/30 ZR 18 on my 2002 targa, suspension is standard.

any idea what size of spacers can i add without mod the body?

Porsche only recommends their 5 mm spacers (all four wheels) for narrow body cars with 285 width tires. Cars with 265 width rear tires can use 5 mm in front and 17 mm rear.

That's an expensive mod for about 1/5th of an inch 'cause I believe they also recommend longer than the 30mm wheel bolts. :(

o.k. i have just ordered spacers with 7mm each side from Albert Motorsport.

porsche says that the wheel bolts have to be 8 turns inside, than they are long enough. albert says that some original bolts are long enough - i will see!

by the way i will install spacers only on the back.

by TechArt you will be able to use up to 18mm with orginal rims (ET65)

I use 2x 15mm from Techart without mod's (same rims, 285 tires).
