Membrane in the exhaust?

Can you be more specific or do you have pictures?

this is the membrane that opens and closes the exhaust when is in sports or regular mode, is a small canister that is in each of the corners of the exhaust of the gt3, inside is a membrane that acts when the switch is depressed

I know the 997 has a sports exhaust that is vacuum controlled but I thought the GT3 sports exhaust was "always open".

Sorry, I am looking at the parts list don't see any vacuum parts for a 997 GT3.

the gt3 has a sport button in the console where you activate the vacuum system it has two valves in each side of the exhaust, this canister is what I damaged and now they want 1200 dlrs for an entire system 'cause they don't sell the canister.........unbelievable!!!!!!
