CDR-220 Faceplate Replacement

I just bought a 99 Boxster with a CDR-220 in it. The faceplate is more or less destroyed, but I got it working. The display doesn't fully function and the buttons have random operation.

I have been looking into a replacement faceplate, but have only found them on e-bay for amounts that seem ridiculous. All I want is the faceplate, and on e-bay the faceplates are just as expensive as the whole radio in most cases.

I was wondering if anyone had an extra faceplate they would be willing to part with? If so, PM me, or reply.

Did you try contacting Becker to see if they can just repair the face plate (since they are the radio manufacturer)? Try http://www.beckerautosound.com/

not sure how bad "destroyed" is, but if it's just not functioning/displaying correctly, try cleaning the contacts w/ rubbing alcohol and a q-tip or w/ just a pencil eraser. Otherwise, keep watchin' ebay or contact becker as suggested above

I thought about it, but I don't think they can repair it. The front and back plastic housing pieces are completely busted apart. Thanks though!
