2000 boxster 3.2s alarm control unit problem

Recommended Posts

i recently had the dreaded boxster flooding fault that has left my boxster in a bit of a state ..i didnt get the m534 out in time anyway i have since purchased a new unit from porsch and have had the transponder key and all the other tech bit sorted out, but i have a few problems i cant get to the bottom of.

the central locking on the dash deosnt work no led light either, no cabin or door lights, no electric windows but they still drop for door open clearence, no electric roof, drivers door locks but the passenger door wont...everything else is ok. had an auto spark look at it he was left scratching his head. its as if an electric source has been knocked out as there is no power at certain point which should be live according to the wiring diagrams.there are no blown fuses either...has anyone else come across this problem, any information would be greatley appreciated

Since you have M534 I assume this is an RoW car that operates are 433 MHz?

Are you sure they did the proper country coding?

Does the key fob lock/unlock work?

Did you check the wiring harness connectors for corrosion and damage?

If all of that is right then you may have a bad immobilizer.
