lug lug lug

Lugging the engine is generally less than 2000 rpm. When you are trying to accelerate, you will feel sluggishness and a lack of response. Shifting at 3,000-3,500 rpm is fine for Sunday morning drives to church. But on the way home, 6,000 - 6,500 is better for the soul.

Ditto that! Hell, i feel like an old grandma with most of these drivers on renntech! I used to shift at 3500 rpms and thought that was being "nice" to my engine....until I found out it likes 4-6 MUCH MORE! LOL. The power band doesn't kick in unil you get those rpms up there:) Don't ragged it out in first, but after that...LET HER GO!

When I used it as a daily driver I shifted around 3200-3500 in town as well to be 'nice.' Now that it is a mountain road pleasure vehicle again I have a lot of fun getting closer to red!
