Upsizing my rear tires

Flying V

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys!

The stock tire size (rear) for my '99 gt3 mk1 is 285/30 r18. Since I'm in the process of replacing my tires, I was thinking of putting in 295/30 r18 instead. Do you guys know if I will get wheel rubbing issues if I do so? If you guys have any other comments / opinions, please share.

Thanks and Godspeed!

My 01 996 is a track car now and I run CCW Wheels made per GT3 spec offsets with 245/45X18 Front (8.5X18 ET40) and 295/30X18 Rear (11X18 ET63) Hoosier R6 with -3.5 camber front and -3.0 rear with no problemo! I would assume my 01 996 with the MK1 aero is the same body as your GT3
