Comfort closure of the sun roof?

Recommended Posts

2005 UK 997 C2S Coupe. (My nephew's latest toy).

Does anyone know if it is possible to have key remote closure of the sun roof? I can't seeem to find a coding option for this in the PIWIS. I've coded the windows on both sides to comfort open and close on the remote when unlocking/locking, but I'm darned if I can find a setting for the roof.

It seems strange that it wouldn't be an option, as it is a standard feature on UK 996s.

Perhaps RFM knows...

I think the sunroof is coded in the rear control module. From my experience with the alarm system ( also coded in the rear control module) the functionality is set by the country coding ie the siren duration, reset time etc. Is it possible the counrty coding may allow comfort closure for some countries but not others ? Just an idea.

Thanks Mike, but I looked in the Front and Rear Control Modules, the PAS Control Module, and the Vehicle Electrical System Module, but couldn't find a coding option in any of them for Comfort operation. Programming the windows for Comfort and One-touch was a piece of cake, but the sun roof is proving to be a challenge. I get the feeling it might not be possible, but I hope I'm wrong.

I am afraid that it not will work Richard, Belgian MY 05 sunroof and cabrio are not linked with the comfort function on the remote, from MY06 the cabrio will work. Sometimes they take strange and unexplained decisions towards equipment level. Enjoy the new ride.
