How much oil?

I have just purchased my 2001 911 Cab and had the inspections completed and an oil change while it was up on the lift. I noticed a slight oil leak while it sits in my garage. It is coming from the oil pan gasket. I have read a number of posts and find that it is a simple fix. Drain the oil, remove the bolts, clean and apply proper silicone, torque bolts and refill oil. Since it has only a few miles since the change, I don't plan to change the filter. How much oil should I purchase and use to fill?

Have a look in your Owners Manual - it lists with and without filter.

7.8 liters but always double check with the display in the cluster.
