Really an "S"

Hi, I am considering bying a 1980 928 S. Well, the title says it is an "S" but ot does´nt have the spoilers or the side-lists. I have got the chassis-number. Can anyone help me to find out if this really is an "S". The number is: 92A0801028

I have been trying to find a decode-site, but no luck....

This is the decoder I used for my car, you will need all 17 digits of the VIN. And just as an extra tid-bit I have an '83 928S, I personally haven't heard of a 928S from any earlier than that inside the US.

17 digit VINs did not start until 1981 (and his car is a 1980).
