Can Someone help me with a key not working manually or electronically. I would greatly appreciate any assistance or suggestions. The key once inserted in the door will not lock or unlock the car, but will start it. I figure I have to probably take the door apart, but what should I look for.

If you cant open/close the door manually with the key, it means that the connecting rod between the lock cylinder and the door lock is broken or poorly placed by a earlier door lock replacement which is a typical DIY error. Remove the inner door trim (instructions on the board) to take a look at it. The electronic issue is probably a bad remote.
