Thanks paul, got away with no problems filled it up as follows.

Put new rad in position and pushed the hoses on minus the clips.

Released the filler cap and got a friend to add coolant while i took the right hand bottom hose off till coolant was flowing through, pushed hose back on and then pulled small hose of on top of rad and waited for more coolant to come through.

When coolant came through put hose back on,then put all the hose clips back on.

Filled up to max line then screwed cap on then pulled bleed valve up(rear of filler cap)

Started engine and left to tick over for 5mins coolant level went down so stopped engine and topped up again, then started engine again.

Left to tick over and slowly increased revs to 2-3 rpm coolant level remained stable so put the bleed valve to normal position.

Did 3 or 4 miles and check temp and coolant level both was ok.

Car now running fine and booked in next week to local porsche centre for its 2 year minor service.

RS has been at the local porsche centre for 7 days, just got it back today.Yes the old RMS problem has come to haunt me.While the engine was out they also split and rectified oil seepage from the crankcase halves ,Wow! what a major job!Good job its a warranty claim, was told the RMS alone would be 2k job out of warranty!Good to have it back in my garage in mint condition and a credit to the technicians to not mark the car in any way.Fingers crossed the problem has been cured.
