"shaking" TT'08 at low RPM's

Recommended Posts

I noticed something strange about my wifes cayenne TT (08 with PDCC) this weekend. When driving slow and the using the throttle, it feels like the car is shaking when it tries to accelerate. Feels a bit like it is driving in a too high gear. When I give more throttle the problem disappears.

Do not want to go to the dealer without more facts on this issue, otherwise they will send me home again witout help!

Any ideas?

Frank

Very good description of the coils going, there will be fault codes.

If no tester replace all 8 and the plugs as they get damaged in the process.

I would put a fault code tester on the car and check for fault codes. If it is running that rough then there should be faults or pending faults.

You bet, I just had my '06 CTTS done. It was shaking, no check engine light. 3 Fault codes were found at the dealer, they changed the Coils (P/N# -05) lastest one from what I understand (warrentied), and changed plugs as well (paid them for the plugs, what can you do....). Its a completely different car now.
