Saw a '07 TT sell today for $66K

Was at a auction today and saw a '07 997 TT with 35K sell for $66K.

Wow! What a steal. Exotics have dumped in value. Ferrari 360 Modena's can now be had in the $60's and $70's. Saw a Ferrari 430 with 9K miles sell for $145K. Lamborghini Gallardo go for $64K. Good time to buy, bad time to sell.

I find that pretty hard to believe.... at what auction was this?

I'm calling b.s.

Not a bit surprised...especially at an auction.

Well considering they sell here in jersey every week for high 70's- low 80's, I don't know who in their right mind would take a 10-14k hit on a car instead of just shippin it to somewhere where they can get the right $ for it. Unless the car has some sort of branded title, I find it hard to believe. So I don't think saying that they are not worth anything right now is an accurate statement, sorry.

Auction cars go for a serious discount because in many cases you cannot inspect them before purchase. The car may have had issues or been a theft recovery with unknown treatment. $66k for a turbo at auction is not out of the question in todays market. This is where dealers get many of their cars and sell them for the figures you mentioned.

I don't believe the original post ever said that "they were not worth anything".

Sorry,

I wasn't trying to be an auction expert and I had no idea you were a dealer. Just plausible that a troubled Turbo could go for that price.

All the best.. Oh By the way.. Here is a nice Lambo with some minor smoke damage :clapping:
