Small Coolant Leak

I have a small coolant leak that seems only to appear after I've had the heat on. It does show at the right front. Where is the take off for the heat?

Your heater core (or heater "radiator") is located just below the base of the windshield, right at the center. It is easy to access from outside the car.

If you remove the battery, you can get a clear look at the two heater hoses (small diameter, about 1 1/4 inches) that lead to/from the heater radiator.

It's very straightforward to remove and inspect or replace once you remove the plastic trim piece under the windshield wipers. One of the few items on a Boxster that does not require contortionist skills or tiny, tiny hands!
