My apologies if this has been posted. Searched and found nothing.

I recently turned off my car with the top down in the sun. When I got back in no sound would come from the radio. After playing with the radio, the frequency settings went blank. The navigation still works as does the climate control. After posting this here was told it was probably an amp problem. Replaced amp with NO luck. The radio still powers on but shows no frequency info and no sound will come out. I'm DESPERATE!

This is an 02 C4 Cabriolet with Bose and navigation, US model.

Any suggestions appreciated!!

It doesn't say anything except PCM on the door to the cassette player. There is no CDR-xxx anywhere. The booklet states PCM but no other model. Could this be a problem with the PCM and, if so, can it be repaired or does it have to be replaced? I've already spent $400 on the amp. Didn't take it to the dealer because, with radio issues, they ususally only want to replace it with a new and highly priced unit. Any help is appreciated!!
