Anyone.

What are the parts required to install the telephone option on a 997.2 (09) C4S with PCM3 and blutooth. I've verified that Blutooth works (it's connects to my phone) and the microphone seems to be there on the steering column. Are there any physical parts to this option ? or is it just a matter of settings through PIWIS?

The option price of 1 million Korean Won (around US$900) suggests it's more than a PIWIS setting but when I asked my OPC for actual part numbers - I could sense he was trying very hard to avoid the question suggesting that it was just a PIWIS setting change. Can anyone confirm this?

HELP~~~~~~~~~

JW from Korea.

telephone and bluetoth are two different things. for bluetooth you need no parts if you already have mic in the car. (look at TSB on this website) you only need the code for which porsche charges you. solution is to get navtv pcm3bt (that is waht i got and so far seems to be the only product in the market). for telephone you need code and other parts but i never understood why have phone when you have bluetooth

Thanks Loren, SA321

My question as well. I have blutooth connection (it connects to my phone ok with secure passcode etc...) but cannot get PCM to work as a phone. The message on the PCM screen is something like "Telephone module not installed"... All I want to do is use my 3G phone through blutooth.

Any ideas?

Apologies for the late reply.

Thanks

Jungwook.

The telephone module (option 666) works readily with phones with SIM Access Profile (SAP). Such phones are several Nokia and Blackberry models shown on the Porsche web-site.

Check them out here:

For other phones to function some change of settings is required using PIWIS and in the case of those phones not all functions are available but still you can make and receive calls using PCM and the MF steering wheel if you got one.

No other hardware is required unless you wish to order the wireless handset in order to make calls in privacy avoiding the loudspeaker.
