instrument lights

04 GT3 - the instrument dash lights don't come on when switching on the running/head lights, after say thirty or forty minutes driving they will, could this be a circuit board issue, I'm guessing it shares a fuse with the number plate light and they works so not intermittent fuse holder, any where else ?? multi pin on back of unit maybe, perish the thought of trying to find a break on the printed circuit board.

another issue: the running light warning buzzer's packed up, anyone know it's location ??

sorry, I've re worded my post, its the dash board light's that don't work, not the running exterior lights. Cant see a single gauge at night.

Well that is the same that I had on a 986 9 years ago, and all they did to fix it was a new light switch.

ah....OK, thanks for your input, I'll look into that switch then.

finally replaced the light switch, beast of a thing, terminals for days, but fixed the problem, including regaining number plate light and park light warning buzzer. I can see my instrument panel now.

How is switch removed? Does it pop out or is dash removed or what?
