Fault Codes P0133, P0420, and P0430

Recommended Posts

2001 Boxster S. 25,500 miles. Manual Transmission. Aftermarket exhaust from previous owner who owns local Porsche performance shop. I am getting these codes and am wondering what this combination might be indicative of. I was previously getting P1128 and P1130 codes which led me to believe the MAF sensor was bad. Changed that out with th new upgraded version and was told by PCA tech support that based on my VIN number DME programming was not required.

Any ideas?

P0133 Signal Period for Oxygen Sensor Ageing, Bank 1 – Above/Below Limit

P1128 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 1 – Above Limit or Below Limit

P1130 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 2 – Above Limit or Below Limi

Looks like a bad sensor or connection on bank 1 for the sensor ahead of cat.

I would fix that clear the codes and see what comes back.
