Hey Loren! Thanks for your response. The bendix keep hanging up intermittently. The car starts fine, but I get an after grind noise just as the engine turns over. I just don't want to ruin the ring gear on the flywheel. Have you performed this job before? I was considering on taking it in, but then again, I know if I take my time I can pull this one off.

Thanks Loren! I relaced the starter today so no more grinding because of a hung up bendix. It was about a 4 beer job with a few cuss words thrown in.............and oh, 2 bleeding knuckles. Thanks for your help!
