Help With Part Identification

Recommended Posts

I recently came back from 60K servicing of a 2006 Cayenne S and found this black plastic piece not put back into position... I would go back to the dealer but it's a longish drive just for this.

Anyone available to help ID this cover (?) and where it goes? I looked deep into the foot spaces in the front and back but could not identify a location.

Here are pictures

Thank you

I searched high and low for a missing plate under the seat frames but could not find anything out of place or obvious to me... any pictures or diagrams available to point me in the right spot?

I thought it looked like the cover for the DVD player under the seat.

I checked, and it doesn't seem to fit that area. The opening is too small for the DVD player. The window controls in the pictures give you an idea of relative scale.

That looks like the trim cover for the back liftgate cover where it latches.

I would take a picture to show you but i'm too lazy, Its part #6 http://www.autoatlan...3-06/807-35.php

I think you are correct - good find!

The only reason why I recognize that part is because mine fell off just this past weekend during camping when I overstuffed the trunk. smile.gif

Thank you very much... it fits perfectly!
