I just tried to order a 2010 Carrera 2S and was told that all the 2010 output has been sold. So I am looking at 2011 which I am told can be ordered for delivery in a couple of months. The dealer says he will have firm pricing next week. However, I can't find out much on the differences between the two model years. I can find internet references to a 998 model but that seems to be a year off at least. Can anyone shed some light on the differences between '10 and '11? Thanks.

Strange that your dealer can't tell you.... From what I have heard there will be no major changes in the 911 until the 998 comes out. But I have been wrong before.....rolleyes.gif

My dealer did call back and said that the differences are minor. He mentioned some switches that were different. He couldn't refer me to a fact sheet that was more specific.

He did say that the 998 (which I have seen referred to as a 2011 model) will actually be a 2013 model year car. For what this is worth.

I've got a 4 page Porsche document I could e-mail to you.

Basically, Some options will be made standard and a third radiator on PDK cars. The rest are new colours and cosmetic changes for the steering wheels.

Yes. I would like to see that document. My e-mail is robingates@att.net.

Thanks.
