Hello all,

Im new to this forum, and I hope Im posting this in the proper place, Im looking for some info on My new/used Porsche Boxster. I have a 2000 Boxster 2.7 and Im trying to find out what exactly it is. Is there a place on the car with numbers as to what options it has. I will be contacting Porsche to get a cert. of auth. But Id like to find out what I have. I found the options tab on the top of the page on this site, its wonderfull. But I have no idea where to find this info on the car. Thank you. And I just love all the info on this forum.

If the sticker is still intact, you will usually find all of the codes listed on a sticker on the underside of the hood on the front trunk, about 1 foot from the front edge, near the center.

The option sticker is most commonly pasted on the inside of the front hood. A perhaps 2.5" by 2.5" square sticker with a series of 3 digit codes and other things on it.

To see what mine looks like and what the order sheet was for my '01 as an example...look here for what we refer to often as the build sticker as it tells what Porsche built into the car at the factory.

Another list of options I know of is at Pedro's Garage. For years I maintained one but when he started his, I gave up and gave him all my info.
