Rear glass hard to close

Recommended Posts

How hard do you have to slam your rear window for it to close properly? I detected a rattle in the back of the car and found that the rear glass was locked but not fully seated. I have to slam it very hard to get that thing to close properly. Is rear glass adjustment a common problem?

BTW- I know the antenna is in the rear spoiler but wouldn't you know it, after slamming it closed a few time, I now get 20ft range on my remote (a HUGE Improvement). I am still scheduled to get the remotes replaced next week under warranty.

I concur with you folks. I just bought a 05 Cayenne S on Tuesday and foolishly spend 2 hours to figure out why my interior light is not willing to turn off after I press the key lock. The Tailgate Window looks lock to me. Fortunately, I found out I also need to slam the window hard to fix the problem.

By the way, what do i need to do in order for the dealership to upgrade my key fob from 05 to 06?
