DIY - Replace Coolant Reservoir

This is a DIY to replace the coolant reservoir in an 996 TT. This procedure is fairly easy but what bring the challenge into it is that everything is very tight and hard to get to. Take your time - give yourself a good 6 hours to pull this off. The second time, you could do this in two.

Is there a coolant system burping procedure to follow up with after the install of the reservoir?

Just lift the wire tab on the top of the coolant tank and drive with it open for a few days -- adding coolant/water mix as needed daily.

Once the coolant level stops dropping close the wire tab again.
