Considering buying this 911! Need help on CEL light!

Recommended Posts

Hey I am considering buying this 2001 911 C4 for a pretty good price ($15,700) it has 104k runs and drives good

Anyways it has a CEL light on and here are the codes I pulled up.

-P0134

-P0154

-P0300

-P0306

-P0304

-P0305

-P1115

The dealership got the car as a trade in a few months ago, but had to wait for the title for a while so it just sat around. They said when they got it they had to replace the starter and the only CEL light on was for the 02 sensor, and now it has all these. I own a mechanics shop, but I like to stay away from European cars as they are time consuming, but this Porsche would be for myself as a winter driver so I can take the time repairing it, just want to know how serve this would be (tune up, or harder?)

Thanks!

P0134 Oxygen Sensor Ahead of TWC, Bank 1 – Interruption of Signal

P0154 Oxygen Sensor Ahead of TWC, Bank 2 – Interruption of Signal

P0300 Misfire Detection (Sum Total)

P0304 Misfiring, Cylinder 4

P0305 Misfiring, Cylinder 5

P0306 Misfiring, Cylinder 6

P1115 Oxygen Sensor Heating Ahead of TWC, Bank 1 – Above Limit

Unusual (but not unheard of) to lose more than one O2 sensor at the same time. I would check the wiring and also to see if they are damaged. Also, you need to find source of the misfires on bank two.
