Looking for the procedure to aim xenons on a 04 Cayenne S.

Had to replace the LH lamp assembly due to a broken lens. Now the auto height adjust initialization at start up does not run in sync with the RH side, and the range of adjustment is totally off from the RH. If the RH is all the way down, and the LH is all the way up, they still are not completely level..

Wondering if there is a Macro setting or if the auto level needs to be reset/re calibrated somehow

Thanks

The procedure is in your owners manual - page 324. If you do not have one then you can download one here.

the aiming procedure I understand..but between the 2 assemblies the range of motion is completely different. I have to be at full up on one and full down on the other and they just barely are level with each other. Then at startup when they cycle the autoleveling procudure, they cycle at different levels. The original headlight assembly was not like this. This is why I am making the assumption that the autolevelling needs to be reset and the levels re adjusted to match.

Does anyone know if this is correct, or if there is a reset procedure for the autolevelling?

It seems you have to carry out a reset procedure.

Attached is some information that suggests this.
