Key fob problem URGENT PLEASE HELP

So my key fob stopped working... it won't unlock the doors. I changed the battery and still won't work. Can I open the car with the key manually? will the alarm go off if I open the door? any other ideas? My wallet is locked inside the car and I cant get to it.

What year/model is your Cayenne? What battery did you change -- on the key fob or vehicle main battery?
