Hi guys

Can someone help me identify this part? It would be nice to know where I can order a new replacement part. It's the piece that holds the screw of the alternator on the bottom left. Help please!!!!

Exact model and year of your car please...

That bracket is actually built into the "lid" part, used to be 996.101.021.51/52, now superseded to 997.101.021.00, list is $63.24, discounted about $53.92. You will also need the gasket that goes behind it, 996.101.331.50, list $4.08 discounted $2.37.Be prepared to loose some coolant when you change it out.

:welcome: to Renntech!

I had something similar on my Boxster 986 last March.

I was able to order a replacement part from Sunset Porsche. It was delivered within a week from Germany.

I lost a little coolant from the bracket and a lot of fluid from the disconnected hose. You should clamp the hose when removed from the housing and have some extra coolant on the reinstallation. Make sure you torque all bolts to specs.

I'm in Everett just up the road. If you need help hollar. I also have a UView 550000 Airlift Tool Kit if you need to borrow it.

PRESS HERE for UView Kit Tool Kit info.
