Oil & Spark Plug

Recommended Posts

I've got this car a year ago.

Now reaching 41000 km and doing the 60k maintenance.

For the oil, I ask a shop to do it for me (not the dealer).

I'm in Japan and I choose Castrol Edge 5W40, 9 liter.

They put almost all in, so now the digital gauge is fully light, so I know that there's too much oil.

Second, I replaced the plug the day before and asked them to have a look (see attached picture).

Their said that it was a good move to have them changed.

So here are my question:

Thanks Loren,

Plugs have been replaced, I will remove 1/2 liter oil.

I just replaced the plugs myself at 51K miles..Brakes are next as the dash light has just came on...My plugs looked real close to yours and maybe a little more fouling but I put the Platinum 4 plugs in her and throttle response has improved a great deal..
