Currently my driver seat is not moving at all in my 1999 Carrera 996. The passenger seat works perfectly.My question is because the pass seat works does this mean the very expensive seat control unit is Ok and I should check for the actual seat driver switch itself?if so doe anyone have a number for the two lever switch?Thanks

Did check fuse E3 (30A)?

If that is okay you can swap parts from one side to the other to narrow it down (unless you have a Durametric tester).

If you decide to remove seats and swap parts disconnect the battery and remove the key from the ignition - or you WILL get an airbag light.

I had the same problem and found another post talking about the E2 fuse for the seat control module. It was a 7.5 and not blown but taking it out and putting it back fixed the seat. My seat would not move in any direction and there were no clicks or noises. The 30amp fuse was also not blown. Disconnecting and reconnecting the battery may also fix it.

Were you able to get your seat to move? I have the same problem, pass. seat works fine, driver's seat won't do anything. Fuses all look good.
