Anyone switch to ceramic brake pads?

Recommended Posts

I would like to switch to ceramic brake pads and am fine keeping my stock rotors, this is on my 2012 Cayenne S. I am having trouble finding a brand that sells both front and rear. I see a brand or two that will list a set for one or the other which I think I strange. So has anyone found a good brand for front and rear specifically on the 958 S? I know the names of all the top brands, but what I am interested in is what is available for the 958s specifically as I am coming up with very little with no real prospects.

That's a resounding no. I am going to post another thread asking for more specific feedback on what I actually found.

Try the EBC Red Stuff pads (ceramics) for your vehicle.   I have several customers running them and they seem to like them.

That was one of the first I considered but I do not see an application for my 2012. Plus oddly enough it states not for trucks or SUVs yet I see the first gen Cayenne listed. I will call them but I cannot find a set for it.

EBC confirmed they do not make red stuff for the 12 Cayenne, only the yellow line and they were not certain the numbers they gave me were an exact match. Guess I will keep looking for another brand.
