Previously Owned Exhaust

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the feedback. I drew the same conclusion.

I was watching a used Fabspeed exhaust/cats on eBay that ultimately sold for $1600 and change. I decided to pay the difference and buy new. Now just need to decide to go with quiet or loud version. Decisions decisions!

LOUD!!!!! :)

I haven't heard either, but that would be my preference anyway.

If you get this, I would be EXTREMELY appreciative if you posted a quality video link w/ sound or a quality sound file to hear the Turbo at WOT or idle or both w/ the new exhaust. It's hard to find good quality sounds of it.

Dock has Europipe loud and swears by it. I'll get ot hear it when I get out to Atlanta this weekend.

I have a set of loud Fabspeeds with tips I am selling. I think the droning noise at 2400-2800 is pretty bad.

I take it that you mean "resonance". I had some resonance in the 2700 - 3000 rpm range on my 996 C Fabspeed mufflers. Just bought a 996 TT and would possibly consider upgrading the exhaust later on. Europipe (www.europipe.be) close to my place here in Belgium seems to offer very nice gear for TT's as well.
