Was out on the Pelican website, looking for some maintenance parts. Saw a listing for the TPMS control module. My 2006 Boxster S, manual didn't have that as an option. Was wondering if I bought the unit, installed it would the TPMS feature work, assuming I purchased tire sensors etc.

No. The vehicle would need to have the wiring harness for the module, and then be coded with a PIWIS to accept it before it would work.  Can be done, but is rather expensive, which is why people go to the aftermarket systems.
