Hello, i was driving my 2007 turbo yesterday and it was all good until at a stop light i went from 1st to 2nd and as soon as i put it in second the shifter got really loose. When it was in 2nd gear i could move the shifter around as if it was in neutral. After that i put it in 3rd gear and then it wouldnt go back in 2nd, 1st or reverse. If i try to put it in reverse or 1st gear then it goes into 3rd. And if i try to put it in 2nd gear it goes to 4th. If that makes sense. I barely made it home in 3rd gear. Any ideas what it could be? Maybe shift cable? Thanks

Check the cable at the transmission end, those ends are known to come loose.
