I had to say goodbye to my 2003 Cayenne Turbo last week.  A rear end collision in September led to it being totaled by insurance with over $13,000 USD in damage (see the "damage" below the bumper in the photo.  I owned it for 15 years after my brother bought it brand new from Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville, FL.  It's now owned by Progressive Insurance.  If anyone knows how to find salvage cars after they're purchased by insurance, this one would be a good one to have.  The VIN is WP1AC29P23LA90342.  The car has ~171,000 miles and this year I replaced all the fuel injectors, both xenon headlight assemblies with Valeo aftermarket, both front ride height sensors, both mass air flow sensors, new cardan shaft, the HVAC center nozzle. Less than 1,500 miles since all that was done.  Also, the tires have probably less than 5,000 miles on them.  It kind of makes me feel like an organ donor, but I just hope someone gets good use out of it.  I enjoyed (almost) every minute of it!
