996 Horn sounds with pressure on rim of steering wheel

My horn started sounding whenever I apply pressure to the rim of the steering wheel.  Such as when I hit a bump, turn a sharp corner, etc.

Search is your friend on this problem as it is a common one, usually traced to the electrical contact isolation in the steering wheel assembly falling apart after years of use.  Over the years, people have come up with different ways to repair it.

You need a new horn frame with new rubber bushings. Not too expensive. Do a search or here:
